【写在最后】
嘉德勋章是世界上最负盛名的勋章，是英国颁发给最高级别骑士的骑士勋章。这个勋章这么出名，是因为它拥有高贵大气的外形，璀璨夺目的装饰，环绕它周围的是更是一个蓝色的袜圈。
袜圈具有很多隐私内涵，为什么会出现在嘉德勋章上面呢？
传说当初英国国王爱德华三世发动克雷西战役，并最终占领了法国加莱。他邀请贵族们举行一场盛大的庆功舞会。当时，爱德华三世邀请了一位伯爵夫人跳舞，在跳舞的过程中，伯爵夫人的袜圈不小心掉落在了地上。周围的一众王公贵族看到后，不禁发出了嘲笑声，并开始对伯爵夫人进行议论。
这时，爱德华三世捡起了袜圈，然后系在了自己的腿上，用法语高声说，“Honi soit qui mal y pense”，这句话翻译过来意为“心怀邪念者蒙羞”。爱德华三世展现出了非凡的骑士精神，因此英国人在后来设计嘉德勋章时，便融入了这个元素。
